Polystyrene for various sectors
Due to its extreme versatility and ease of processing, polystyrene is widely used in the food industry as well as in construction and the production of technical articles. Our experienced and up-to-date staff take advantage of the foaming nature of this material to mould it into the desired shape. Its chemical and physical composition also makes polystyrene an inert element to corrosive agents, a material with low thermal conductivity properties and effective as a thermal insulator, in addition to the fact that it is self-extinguishing and also an excellent acoustic insulator.
After
moulding the EPS, our polystyrene is perfect for protecting objects or storing food, but not only. At Bergamo Espansi we also use it for the production of shaped motorbike helmets and food boxes, trays, pot holders, containers for fragile objects, insulating panels for the building industry, and containers for household appliances.
